Political intrigue on far off planets. Epic battles among the stars perhaps. And valkyrie of course implies great warriors. I don’t want to spoil myself by looking up too much so I'll wait for the book to be out.
I'm a bit late to the party on this one, but this was wonderful! You've packed so much world-building into such a small section of text and made it very enjoyable. It takes a lot of finesse to weave so much information into an intro chapter without having readers' eyes glaze over at all of the vocab haha

And I also have a character named Serafina, except mine is spelled Seraphina, and she goes by Sera.
Hope you follow along! I think the real Italian spelling is “Seraphina,” but I liked the f for some reason.
